Forum FX725C: The Complete Deal The Forum FX725C is a complete drum kit in the truest sense of the word 'complete.' It comes with cymbals, drum throne, drumsticks and even a video that shows you how to set the kit up. The kit consists of a 16" x 22" bass drum, 10" x 12" and 11" x13" rack toms, 16" x16" floor tom, 5 1/2" x 14" all-Mahogany snare and Pearl's 70W series double-braced hardware. Finish choices are shown below (please ignore the metal snare in these pictures; the snare included in this set has the same finish as the other drums.) Low Price, Great Construction Despite the Forum's affordable pricing, construction is top-drawer. Shells are fashioned from 100% Mahogany, in the same molds and using the same Heat Compression Shell Molding Process as Pearl's professional series drums. Scarf joint (gapless seam) construction assures uniform shell vibration, with no air pockets to impede the Forum's rich, warm resonance. An all-Mahogany 5 1/2 X 14" snare is the perfect match for these shells. Nice Hardware All Around Hardware includes an S-70W snare stand, three-section folding C-70W cymbal stand, and direct-pull H-70W hi-hat stand, all with double braced legs for long-lasting stability. The P-70 pedal features a smooth, fast-acting strap drive. The D-70W throne employs the same double braced legs and provides continuously variable height adjustment, with stop-lock memory. Pearl hasn't cut corners when it comes to the hardware on the drums either. Low-mass tom mounting brackets provide a secure mount without sucking out sonic performance. Other details include rugged SP-70 spurs and key-style tension rods, which offer precise tuning. But There's More! The cymbals that are included are a pair of 14" hi-hat cymbals plus an 18" crash/ride. The set-up and instructional video featuring Eric Singer gets you up and running, at which time you simply put the included set of Vic Firth 5A drumsticks in your hand and start enjoying yourself. Complete, and a completely great value from Pearl!
