Tradesman Series “purpose built” guitars are built with luthier selected solid tone woods in our pro series facility that has been building precision quality instruments over five decades. The TF740FS OM was conceived as an elegant performance platform for the fingerstyle artist. The 1 7/8” nut width broadens the string spacing at the nut and at the bridge. The slotted headstock gives the guitar a classic look and increases the break angle of the strings over the nut. The neck meets the body at the 12th fret, putting the bridge in the sweet spot of the guitar top for added tonal fullness and depth. Feature a solid red cedar top, solid Mahogany back and sides, gold with ivory key tuners, ebony fingerboard and gloss natural finish. Includes Takamine’s Palathetic™ pickup, known in the industry as one of the most accurate and natural sounding acoustic/electric pickups. The electronic performance package is beyond state of the art with the Cool Tube® Preamp – the first and only tube preamp in an acoustic guitar.
